Clermont Foot 63 have named Corinne Diacre manager, the club announced on 28/06/2014. She will replace Helena Costa (Portugal) who was tapped for the post on 07/05/2014 but resigned on 23/06/2014.

Diacre is former captain of the French women's football team, and has had a BEPF (Brevet d'entraîneur professionnel de football, the French certification for managers) since May 2013. She committed to the club for two seasons. Diacre previously managed ASJ Soyaux (French women's first division), and was assistant manager for the French women's national team since 2007.

"Clermont Foot are a healthy football club, both financially and on the pitch. This morning, I found smiling players who looked at me right in the eyes with no hidden agenda. I am delighted with this; it is very important. (...) I know a lot of Ligue 2 managers as I trained with them. Even back then, I was the only woman," said Diacre after her first practice on 30/06/2014.
