Serie A TIM: Udinese Calcio opens official accounts on the Chinese platforms Weibo and Douyin

Udinese Calcio (Serie A TIM) has launched official accounts on the Chinese social networks Weibo (Sina Sports group) and Douyin (TikTok outside China), announced the Italian club on 07/05/2021.

"The move is the latest step in Udinese's internationalisation drive and comes in the wake of our recent launch on TikTok - the social-media network currently all the rage among Gen Z - and after the club and its players reached 15 million followers on all social-media accounts," said the club, which joined the video-sharing platform on 23/04/2021.

"We decided to further bolster our presence on social-media platforms and, after TikTok, we now have two official accounts focusing on China, a market of great strategic importance for Udinese and Italian football in general.
