Ligue 2 BKT: AC Ajaccio to use Instagram post as main shirt sponsor for last match of 2020-21

AC Ajaccio (Ligue 2 BKT) will display the visual of an Instagram post as its main shirt sponsor for the club's last match of the 2020-21 season (Matchday 38) as part of an operation led by the Corsican communication agency AM Digital, according to the two parties on social media on 11/05/2021.

"'A good post is better than a long speech!" This slogan, inspired by a quote from Napoleon Bonaparte ("A good sketch is better than a long speech"), will adorn AC Ajaccio's shirt for their match versus La Berrichonne Châteauroux on 15/05/2021.

During the AC Ajaccio - Paris FC game (1-1, Matchday 37 of the Ligue 2 BKT) on 08/05/2021, the Corsican club celebrated the bicentenary of the death of the Emperor Napoleon I (on 05/05/1821, on the island of Saint Helena) by wearing a black collectable shirt decorated with the words "Ville Impériale". Ajaccio (Southern Corsica) is the birthplace of Napoleon, born on 15/08/1769.

The Corsican club has not had a fixed main shirt sponsor during the 2020-21 season. 12 local brands have however been featured on AC Ajaccio's shirts throughout the season.
