American kit supplier Nike announced a turnover of €20.4bn for the 2014 fiscal year (01/06/2013 to 31/05/2014) on 26/06/2014. This is a 10% increase from 2013 (€18.05bn).

Nike said it benefited from an advantageous tax rate that enabled it to limit cost increases for marketing operations for the 2014 World Cup. The "Risk Everything" advertising campaign, whose videos have been viewed 370m times, made up 36% of Nike's total marketing expenses.

Net income for the fiscal year ending 31/05/2014 was €1.97bn (+9%) with an earning per share estimated at €2.18 (versus €1.81bn and €1.97 per share for the previous year). The kit supplier also announced a net income of €512m during the fourth trimester of the 2014 fiscal year (01/03/2014 to 31/05/2014), an increase of 5% compared to the same period the previous year (€485.54m).

Quarterly turnover has also increased by 11% to €5.4bn, split between the Nike brand (€5.1bn, +11%) and Converse (€300m, +15%), another brand from the company. Orders from June to November 2014 increased by 11% compared to the same period in 2013.
