Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Paris Saint-Germain to open its first academy in Senegal

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) will open an academy in Saly (SEN), its first in Senegal, announced the club, already present on the African continent in Morocco and Egypt, on 12/05/2021.

"The Paris Saint-Germain Academy Senegal will be located at the Bruno Metsu sports complex (Saly, SEN), one of the finest sporting facilities in the country. The head of the academy and his coaching staff - made up of Senegalese and French coaches trained by the club - will be aiming to offer high-quality training in a professional environment, all with the goal of helping their young charges maximise their potential," said the Parisian club.

"The academy will run year-round programmes for players in all age groups between U7s and U19s. At a later stage it will also operate an elite programme for 50 young players from all over Africa, who will stay at the academy and continue with their school studies as they train.
