OL Groupe: a turnover of €150m (-44%) for the first nine months of 2020-21

OL Groupe posted a turnover of €150m for the first nine months of the 2020-21 financial year (from 01/07/2020 to 31/03/2021), down 44% compared to the same period in 2019-20 (a record €265.7m), announced the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on 12/05/2021.

"Revenue during the first nine months of the 2020-21 financial year was severely affected by the direct and indirect effects of the pandemic on the professional sports and events industry. The public health measures in place since the beginning of the financial year brought operations at Groupama Stadium (ticketing and events) to a standstill. The Group's performance was also badly hit by its absence from European competition (as a result of the premature end to the 2019-20 Ligue 1 season) and by Mediapro's October 2020 default on its contract as the main broadcast partner for Ligue 1 matches," explained OL Groupe.
