UEFA: "We Are The People" (Martin Garrix feat. Bono and The Edge), official song of Euro 2020

"We Are The People", a collaboration between Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix, Bono and The Edge (both members of Irish band U2), will be the official song of Euro 2020 (11/06 to 11/07/2021), announced UEFA on 14/05/2021. The song was unveiled on Thursday 13/05/2021 on the big screens at Wembley Stadium (London, ENG), where the final of the competition will take place on 11/07/2021.

"The official song has been written to celebrate the festivity and football of UEFA Euro 2020, one of world football's biggest events. We Are The People is a song that looks at the challenges facing the world, while at the same time aiming to find a unified response to these issues," explained the European Confederation.

"We Are The People hopes to reflect the positivity, hope and determination required for any team to succeed, as well as offering a sense of togetherness, which fits the theme of Euro 2020 - unity. For the first time, the Euro will be played across the continent (in 11 different cities), which will display the overriding theme of unity throughout," added UEFA.
