Rugby: Cadbury (confectionery), main jersey sponsor of Rugby Australia (2021-2025)

Cadbury, a chocolate bar brand belonging to the American confectionery company Mondelēz International (Oreo, Toblerone, etc.), has become a principal partner of Rugby Australia and will appear as the main jersey sponsor of the Wallabies (senior men's team) for five years (2021-2025), announced the Federation on 13/05/2021.

Cadbury will also be displayed on the Wallabies' training shorts. The brand has also become a major partner and shorts sponsor of the Wallaroos, Australia's senior women's rugby team.

Cadbury succeeds Australian airline Qantas, Rugby Australia's principal partner for 30 years. Qantas terminated its agreement with Rugby Australia at the end of the 2020 season. The Australian group paid AU$5m (€3m) per season to the Federation.

Since 2020, Mondelēz International has been deploying an aggressive sponsorship strategy in sports, particularly in football, where the group has signed no less than 15 agreements with clubs, federations and leagues with its Cadbury, Milka and Hollywood brands.
