2021 European Rugby Cups: 500 healthcare workers invited for each final, on 21 and 22/05/2021

The 2021 Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup finals at Twickenham Stadium in London (ENG) will host 500 healthcare workers invited by the EPCR, according to the organisers of the two competitions on 12/05/2021.

"EPCR would like to recognise workers from across the NHS (National Health Service) for their dedication and bravery in battling against the Covid-19 pandemic, recognising that playing finals in front of any crowd at all would not have been possible without their work," said the body.

Twickenham will host the finals with a maximum capacity of 10,000 spectators, as stated by the EPCR on 30/04/2021. The Challenge Cup final between Leicester Tigers (Gallagher Premiership Rugby) and Montpellier Hérault Rugby (Top 14) is scheduled on Friday 21/05 at 20:00 (BST), while the Champions Cup final between Stade Rochelais (Top 14) and Stade Toulousain (Top 14) is scheduled on Saturday 22/05/2021 at 16:45.
