Olympique Lyonnais: club awarded the Fair Play For Planet label for its eco-responsible commitment

"Following a two-month audit, Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has just been awarded the Fair Play For Planet FPFP** certified as "Engagé" (committed). This distinction rewards the eco-responsible commitment carried by the institution for several years," announced the French club on 17/05/2021.

"At the beginning of 2021, Olympique Lyonnais began the process of obtaining the Fair Play For Planet label, the first label that recognises clubs and sporting events with a real environmental commitment. Olympique Lyonnais, the first professional football club to join the label, underwent an audit that lasted two months. Using 300 questions, carried out in cooperation with ADEME (French Agency for Ecological Transition), the Fair Play For Planet teams had to determine a level of labelling ranging from 1 to 3 stars, or even refuse to grant this distinction," explained OL.
