Qatar 2022: Qatari French Business Club holds meeting for organisers and businesses

The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (the Qatari organising committee for the 2022 World Cup) presented its infrastructure projects to French companies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris on 24/06/2014, the QFA (Qatar Football Association) announced on 29/06/2014.

This meeting was organised by the Qatari French Business Club in order to bring "together French and Qatari entities in order to build on existing relationships and create new partnerships for the future," the Supreme Committee said. It took place as part of the visit of Hamad bin Tamim, Qatar's emir, to France on 23 and 24/06/2014. Laurent Fabius, the minister of foreign affairs and international development, and Jean-Christophe Peaucelle, the French ambassador to Qatar, attended the meeting.

The committee is looking for "partners who can add true value to our vision, through innovation and creativity, and who are committed to working with us for the long-term and to playing a role in the sustainable development of Qatar," said Al Hassan Al Thawadi (Qatar), the general secretary of the Supreme Committee…
