Volkswagen: partnership with the French Football Federation focused on environmental activations

"Less communication and more action is what we want to do with our partnership with the French Football Federation. We want to give it much more meaning, in line with our 'Way to Zero' policy (to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050)," said Jean-Manuel Caparros, head of communication and digital at Volkswagen France, to News Tank Football on 18/05/2021.

A major partner of the FFF since 2014 (first level), Volkswagen has unveiled its new activations programme which will take the partnership through to 2023. The French subsidiary of the German car manufacturer is relying on a strategy focused on the environment, recycling and sustainability, by asserting itself as the Federation's "electromobility partner" (see details below).

"The partnership remains the same as set out in the renewal on 30/11/2017, which takes us until 2023. The agreement does not change. On the other hand, our efforts must now focus on activations.
