Champions League: Man City owner Sheikh Mansour to fund fans' trip to Porto for the final

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the Emirati owner of Manchester City FC (Premier League), will pay the full airfare and transfer costs for the club's supporters travelling to Porto (Portugal) for the Champions League final versus Chelsea FC (Premier League) on Saturday 29/05/2021 (kick-off 21:00 CET), announced the English club on 18/05/2021.

"Thousands of Manchester City fans will benefit from this initiative, which is aimed at easing the financial pressure on those who have faced - and are still facing - difficult circumstances due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Aware of the impact of the pandemic on all Manchester City supporters and the increase in travel costs, Sheikh Mansour has been trying to eliminate the biggest financial barrier for supporters wishing to attend the final," explained Manchester City.
