Bose, an American company specialised in audio equipment, became the official supplier of the sound system for the Stade Bordeaux Atlantique (capacity 42,000) on 30/06/2014. This is the first partnership for this stadium, which is being built for Euro 2016 (hosted by France, 10/06 to 10/07/2016).

The deal will last three years and its amount was not disclosed. Aside from the stadium's sound system, Bose will equip some hospitality areas. The logo of the American brand will appear on the stadium's sound equipment.

"A football game is today more than a sports event; it should be a party. This is why Bose wants to give fans better audio quality," Bertrand Nobilet, marketing director for Bose France, told News Tank on 01/07/2014. "We are the only company to offer a simulation of a stadium's sonic ambiance, even before it has been created," he said.

Girondins de Bordeaux, who will occupy the stadium once it is completed, want to inaugurate the Stade Bordeaux Atlantique for their final game of the 2014-15 Ligue 1 season (Bordeaux-Montpellier, on 23/05/2015).
