Ligue 1 Uber Eats: a record 1.9 million viewers for multiplex on Canal+, 976,000 for OM-FC Metz (C8)

1.91 million viewers watched the multiplex of Matchday 38 the final matchday of the 2020-21 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season on the pay-TV channel Canal+, on Sunday 23/05/2021 (kick-off at 21:00 CET). This figure ranked the pay-TV channel fifth in the French audiovisual market at prime time on 23/05/2021. This was also a a record audience for a Ligue 1 multiplex broadcast on Canal+.

Olympique de Marseille - FC Metz (1-1), on Matchday 38, drew an average of 976,000 viewers on the free-TV channel C8 (Canal+ group) at the same time. Audience share: 4.3%. The seventh best audience of the evening.

This was the fourth Ligue 1 match broadcast free-to-air on C8 after Stade de Reims - Olympique de Marseille, on Saturday 02/02/2019, Paris Saint-Germain - ESTAC Troyes, on Wednesday 29/11/2017 and OM - Angers SCO, on Sunday 16/05/2021 (see audiences below).
