Premier League: Burnley FC form strategic partnerships with 4 other clubs from the British Isles

"Burnley FC (Premier League) is to expand its reach to all four corners of the British Isles after agreeing strategic partnerships with football clubs in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland," announced the club on 20/05/2021.

"Scottish Championship club Ayr United, 2007 League of Ireland First Division winners Cobh Ramblers, Portadown of the NIFL Premiership and Cymru North team Llandudno will all become partner clubs of Burnley FC. Partnerships will support development of young players and coaches while expanding Burnley FC's network for domestic talent identification," added the club.

"Long-term, the goal of the strategic partnerships is to create player pathways into the Premier League for the best players. Affiliated clubs will benefit from a range of hands-on support from Burnley FC using the club's football, operational and commercial expertise.
