Bundesliga: Nike to succeed Hummel as equipment supplier of SC Freiburg from 2021-22

Nike will once again become the official equipment supplier of SC Freiburg (Bundesliga) from 2021-22 as part of a multi-year agreement, announced the German club on 21/05/2021. Nike equipped SC Freiburg between 2009-10 and 2015-16.

"11teamsports, based in Satteldorf in Baden-Württemberg, will take over responsibility for the on-site implementation in their role as the team's official outfitter, and will also be responsible for all name and number printing. Global sporting goods manufacturer Nike will be responsible for supplying matchday, training and leisure outfits for all the club's teams," said the German club.

Nike will succeed Hummel, the official equipment supplier of SC Freiburg for the 2016-2021 cycle (€1.6m per season). Hummel, which did not equip any other Bundesliga club in 2020-21, will replace Uhlsport at 1. FC Köln (Bundesliga) for 2022-2027 for €4m per season.
