Bundesliga: Aroundtown (real estate) extends as main shirt sponsor of FC Union Berlin for 2021-22

Aroundtown SA, a Luxembourg-based real estate company, has activated its option to extend its partnership with 1. FC Union Berlin (Bundesliga) and will continue as the club's main shirt sponsor in 2021-22, announced Union Berlin on 21/05/2021. Aroundtown provides the German club with €2m per season.

The Luxembourg-based group has been Union Berlin's main shirt sponsor since 2019-20. Aroundtown therefore continues to benefit from the status of main partner (first level) of the Berlin club. The real estate specialist had succeeded the German company Layenberger Nutrition Group (diet food) as shirt sponsor of Union Berlin for the 2016-2019 cycle (agreement on 25/04/2016). Aroundtown has been a partner of the club since 2017-18.

For the last match of the 2020-21 season (Union Berlin - RB Leipzig, 2-1, 22/05/2201), Aroundtown offered its sponsorship space so that the club could thank its supporters by displaying the message "Danke Unioner" on the front of the shirts.
