Manchester City FC: City Football Group joins project to build an arena at the Etihad Campus

City Football Group (CFG), majority shareholder of Manchester City FC (Premier League), is partnering with US-based entertainment company Oak View Group in investing in the "Co-op Live" project, the UK's future largest arena (23,500 capacity), currently under construction at the Etihad Campus site (where the club's headquarters are located in Manchester, ENG), announced the football asset investment holding company on 24/05/2021.

The two entities will invest a total of £350m (€405m) in the project. "Together, OVG and CFG will deliver one of the most advanced and sustainable venues in the world, making the Etihad Campus an entertainment and leisure destination and Manchester an even more attractive city for visitors from the UK and around the world," said City Football Group.
