Serie BKT: Empoli FC, promoted to the Serie A TIM, unveil a new modernised logo for 2021-22

"At the end of an extraordinary centenary season for the Azzurri, crowned by the promotion to the Serie A TIM for the 2021-22 season, Empoli FC (Serie BKT) has revised its image with a new logo that will represent and identify the club from now on," announced the club on 25/05/2021.

"On a blue background stands out the acronym EFC, three letters that date back to Empoli's first crest in the 1920s, which have been revised in a more modern tone. At the top, written in a more contemporary font, is Empoli FC. At the bottom is the historic date 1920, the year the club was founded, all of which is encased by a shield," said the Italian club, which had previously unveiled a special logo for the 2020-21 season to mark its centenary.

"The new logo will be used immediately and will appear on the club's shirts and equipment from the 2021-22 season onwards," added the club from the Tuscan city, located about 20km from Florence (ITA).
