German broadcaster ZDF nabs 11.62m viewers for Argentina-Switzerland, 10.35m for Belgium-USA

The round of 16 Argentina - Switzerland match (1-0, aet) of the 2014 World Cup (Brazil, from 12/06 to 13/07/2014) was watched on average by 11.62m viewers in Germany on the public channel ZDF. The game went from 18:00 to 20:30 CET on 01/07/2014.

ZDF had an audience share of 50% for this game among those aged three and up. It was watched by 4.17m viewers aged 14 to 49 (audience share of 50.2%). 6.28m Germans aged 14 to 59 (50.7% audience share) watched the game.

Belgium - USA (2-1 aet), the last round of 16 fixture of the Brazilian World Cup, was broadcast as well on ZDF and brought in on average 10.35m viewers in Germany. The game went from 22:00 CET on 01/07/2014 to 00:30 CET on 02/07/2014.

ZDF had an audience share of 52.6% among those aged three and up for this game. It was watched by 4.06m viewers aged 14 to 49 (50.5% audience share), and by 5.95m viewers aged 14 to 59 (50.3% audience share).
