Sevilla FC: 5.17 million views for the club's first live stream on the social network Sina Weibo

Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) accumulated a total of 5.17 million views during their first live stream on the social network Sina Weibo (Sina Sports Group, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter), announced the club on 19/05/2021.

The live stream took place prior to the Real Madrid CF - Sevilla FC game (2-2, Matchday 35 of LaLiga Santander) and allowed the platform's users to take part in competitions, benefit from exclusive promotions and listen to messages from club personalities, including sporting director Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo (ESP), known as Monchi, and Cameroonian player Stéphane Mbia (ex-Sevilla player, currently playing in China with Shanghai Shenhua).

A peak audience of 387,000 simultaneous viewers was reached during the live broadcast, while the club has 486,145 followers on Sina Weibo.
