Manchester City FC are ranked sixth in the 2021 ranking of the "World's Most Valuable Soccer Teams" by the US business magazine Forbes ($4bn/€3.35bn), versus seventh place for Chelsea FC ($3.2bn/€2.7bn), as the two Premier League clubs prepare to face each other in the 2020-21 Champions League final at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal, on Saturday 29/05/2021 (kick-off 21:00 CET).

With €549.2m in turnover in 2019-20, Manchester City FC were ranked 6^th in the last edition of the Football Money League, a Top 20 listed each year by the firm Deloitte according to the turnover (excluding transfers) of European clubs. Only two places behind, Chelsea FC were ranked 8^th (€469.7m).

With a brand valuation of €1.118bn, Manchester City were also ranked 4^th in the "Football 50 2021" ranking published in May 2021 by the American company Brand Finance, a specialist in the economic evaluation of brands, versus a 8^th place for the London club with a valuation of €769m.
