Ligue 1 Uber Eats: FC Metz gets a modernised logo and a new visual identity

FC Metz (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) unveiled their new logo and visual identity during a special broadcast on the French regional channel Moselle TV and the club's Facebook page on 27/05/2021.

"Driven by the desire to innovate through new sports infrastructures such as the Frescaty training centre (Moselle, FRA) or the extensively renovated Stade Saint-Symphorien (24,985 capacity), and after having implemented an ambitious club project that is yielding positive results, FC Metz is continuing to move forward," said the Lorraine-based club, whose previous logo was created in 2001.

"By honouring the Cross of Lorraine, while giving it a more singular and elegant shape, and the garnet (dark red) colour, the club has chosen to highlight its history and reaffirm its values. The choice of the Cross of Lorraine was not made by chance: it is the symbol that best represents FC Metz for 69% of supporters," added the club, which surveyed its fans about their vision for the club in February 2021 (see below).
