The Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) Endowment Fund and the Dutch start-up KLABU (which means "club" in Swahili) have launched a multi-year project to develop new sports centres for the benefit of thousands of young refugees and communities living in or near camps, announced the Parisian club on 27/05/2021.

The infrastructure will be "the first of its kind to be opened at a refugee camp by a sports club. They will support these initiatives through social enterprise, creating sport kits for the world to wear," added Paris Saint Germain.

"The project, which has now been in the works for almost two years, aims to unlock the power and joy of sport through community-driven projects, which will be kicked off at the single largest refugee camp in the world at Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh (in Autumn 2021). The initial goal is to reach 10,000 refugee and host community children, and their family members," explained the Parisian club, which is collaborating with the UNHCR, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, for the project.
