Roland-Garros: Lacoste celebrates 50 years of partnership by integrating cameras into polo shirts

Lacoste has activated its partnership with Roland-Garros and launched the "In the Eyes of the Crocodile" operation an immersive experience for the 2021 edition of the Grand Slam tournament, announced the French equipment manufacturer on 31/05/2021.

"This is a very special year for Lacoste and Roland-Garros, who are celebrating 50 years of partnership. In a reduced capacity setting, "In the Eyes of the Crocodile" offers to open the doors of the famous Parisian stadium to as many people as possible. Through short video clips, fans of the tournament will be able to experience Roland-Garros from an unprecedented angle, brought to life by Lacoste ambassadors, friends of the brand and key players in the smooth running of the tournament, people who are often in the background but without whom the tournament could not take place," explained Lacoste, partner of the tournament since 1971 and until 2025.

Throughout the fortnight (from 30/05 to 13/06/2021), Lacoste players, celebrities, journalists, ball boys and girls and linesmen will have a GoPro camera integrated into their polo shirts…
