LaLiga Santander: 1 million views for the launch of Puma's 2021-22 official ball live on Twitch

Puma and LaLiga presented "Accelerate", the official LaLiga Santander ball for the 2021-22 season during a live stream on the video game and entertainment streaming platform Twitch on 31/05/2021.

The launch of the new ball took place during a live stream on the Twitch channel of Ibai Llanos, an esports commentator and streamer on the platform. The live stream posted 1.028 million views. The Spanish streamer has been commentating on Spanish league matches on the live video platform owned by Amazon, since 2020.

During the live broadcast, players from LaLiga Santander (Luis Suarez, Suso, Santi Cazorla, Nolito and Marc Bartra) came to chat with Ibai Llanos. The campaign for the launch of Puma's new Accelerate ball was also promoted by other Spanish league players and brand ambassadors (Jan Oblak, Antoine Griezmann, Raphaël Varane and Jules Koundé).

This is the third season of the partnership between the German equipment manufacturer and the Spanish league. The contract, which runs from 2019 to 2024, is worth between €5-6m per year.
