Italy: platform DAZN to increase price from €9.99 to €29.99 per month on 01/07/2021

DAZN will increase its price in Italy from €9.99 per month to €29.99 from 01/07/2021, announced the OTT platform on 01/06/2021.

DAZN will also offer a €19.99 per month deal for 14 months for new customers who subscribe between 01 and 28/07/2021. Existing subscribers will pay €19.99 per month for 12 months from September 2021 and July and August will be free.

DAZN acquired the rights to broadcast all Serie A TIM matches (including 7 out of 10 exclusively) over the 2021-2024 cycle, for €840m per season, on 26/03/2021. During the 2018-2021 cycle DAZN broadcast three Serie A TIM games per matchday exclusively, for €193m per season.

In addition to the Serie A, DAZN also broadcasts LaLiga Santander, the CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana, FC Inter Milan and AC Milan's themed channels, MotoGP, NFL, UFC and boxing.
