Brazil: Neoenergia (Iberdrola), women's national team sponsor and title sponsor of women's D1

Neoenergia, a South American energy producer and distributor belonging to the Spanish group Iberdrola, has become "the first company in the country" to sign an exclusive partnership contract for Brazilian women's football with the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol, for four seasons (2021-2024), announced both parties on 01/06/2021.

As part of the agreement, Neoenergia becomes a partner of all Brazilian women's teams. "The contract between CBF and Neoenergia runs until 2024 and provides for the display of the brand on the women's national team training uniform, promotional actions and activations on the social networks of the Guerreiras do Brasil (Warriors of Brazil)," said the CBF.

Neoenergia has become the title sponsor of the women's first division organised by the Brazilian Federation. The competition will be known as the "Brasileirão Feminino Neoenergia" until 2024. The Brazilian men's first division (Brasileirão Assaí), also has a title sponsor, namely Assaí Atacadista (petrol stations and supermarkets) for the 2018-2022 cycle.
