LaLiga Santander: Hyundai extends as sleeve sponsor of Club Atlético de Madrid for 2021-22

Hyundai, a South Korean car manufacturer, has extended as a sleeve sponsor of Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) for the 2021-22 season, announced the club on 04/06/2021. Hyundai will pay €3m per season to the 2020-21 Spanish champions, according to Spanish media the same day.

The partnership covers Atlético de Madrid's senior men's and women's teams (Primera Iberdrola) and is applied to all domestic competitions. Hyundai will continue to benefit from the status of "official global automotive partner", the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Spanish club.

Hyundai, the club's partner for 2018-2021, succeeded car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Spain, via the Alfa Romeo brand (2017-18 season), as Atlético's automotive partner.

• Four clubs in the Spanish Championship do not have a sleeve sponsor as of 11/09/2020: Athletic Club Bilbao, Levante Union Deportiva, Real Madrid CF, Sociedad Deportiva Eibar and Elche CF.
