2020-21 D1 Arkema: Paris Saint-Germain's women's team wins its first French championship title

Paris Saint-Germain Féminine, the French club's women's team, have been crowned 2020-21 D1 Arkema champions after their 3-0 victory over Dijon FCO at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) on Matchday 22, the final matchday of the season, on 04/06/2021. The Parisian club's very first victory in the competition ends a record series of 14 consecutive titles for Olympique Lyonnais Féminin.

Paris Saint-Germain finished the season with 62 points (20 wins, 2 draws and 0 losses), i.e. 1 point ahead of OL Féminin, in second place. The Parisiennes also had the best attack (83 goals scored) and the best defense (4 goals conceded) during the 2020-21 season.

"The players have had a magnificent season, this is a very important trophy for the club, 50 years after the creation of the women's team (in 1971). It is the first D1 Arkema title and I am convinced that the team has the capacity to win others in the years to come," said Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of Paris Saint-Germain.
