Facebook: Top 100 European football clubs with the most likes (June 2021)

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most followed European club on Facebook (over 111 million likes), ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 103 million) and Manchester United FC (Premier League, 73 million), according to data collected by News Tank Football, which establishes the Top 100 most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/06/2021.

The Madrid club and AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), 17^th in this ranking, were the clubs which posted the best growth in absolute value with just over 200,000 additional fans each since 01/05/2021. In percentage terms, VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) posted the best growth (+7.7%) during the month of May, ahead of Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander, +4.2%).

The Premier League is the most represented league in the Top 20 of this ranking (seven clubs), followed by the Serie A TIM (four) and LaLiga Santander (three). The Süper Lig places two clubs, with the Turkish championship being the only league outside the European Top 5 to be represented in the Top 20.
