Greg D'Alba (USA) was named president of global sales and marketing of IMG (a marketing and media rights agency) and WME (William Morris Endeavour Entertainment, a talent and literary agency), IMG told News Tank on 04/07/2014.

D'Alba previously worked as president of digital ad sales and marketing at Turner Broadcasting System, an American broadcasting group, and the media company CNN, owned by the American conglomerate Time Warner. D'Alba had worked for these two companies since 1986.

This role as president of global sales and marketing of both IMG and WME is a newly created position. D'Alba will manage the marketing and sales strategies of the two companies. He will work in collaboration with Patrick Whitesell and Ari Emanuel, co-CEOs of WME.

IMG was bought by WME for $2.3bn (€1.7bn) on 18/12/2013. The marketing department of IMG was then reorganised on 01/07/2014.

The events and media departments of the agency were merged in this operation.
