Bundesliga: Kyocera extends its partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach through 2014-15

Kyocera, a Japanese manufacturer of printers, has extended its partnership with Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) through 2014-15, the club announced on 01/07/2014.

Kyocera has sponsored the club since 2005, and was its main shirt sponsor through the end of the 2008-09 season. The current partnership places the Japanese company on advertising in Borussia Park (59,700 seats) and to do on-site activities.

The German bank Postbank also extended its partnership as shirt sponsor with the club on 29/04/2014. The sponsorship, which was initially scheduled to end in 2015, was extended through the end of the 2019-20 season for an annual fee of €6.5m.

The Borussia Mönchengladbach received €25m in sponsorship in 2013, €1m (+ 4%) more than in 2012 (€24m).

  • Borussia Mönchengladbach reported €91.4m in turnover for the 2013 financial year, a €31m decrease (- 25.3%) compared to the record 2012 turnover (€122.4m).
