FIFA: Paris office to be inaugurated by Emmanuel Macron at the Hôtel de la Marine on 10/06/2021

Emmanuel Macron, President of France, and Gianni Infantino, FIFA president, will inaugurate the Parisian office of the International Federation at the Hôtel de la Marine, Place de la Concorde (Paris, FRA) on Thursday 10/06/2021.

It is the Hôtel de la Marine in its entirety that the Head of State will be inaugurating, "at the end of a major restoration and fitting-out operation carried out over the last four years by the Centre des monuments nationaux (body that preserves, restores, and manages historic buildings and sites in France)," according to the Élysée. Cost of the work: €132m.

The building will house l’Académie de Marine (The Royal Naval Academy of France), the headquarters of the Foundation for the Memory of Slavery created in 2019, as well as FIFA's new Paris office. "At the end of the visit, the President of the French Republic will meet with Gianni Infantino," said the Élysée.
