esports: Kia extends with Rogue, Betway partners with G2 Esports for the resumption of the LEC 2021

Kia, South Korean car manufacturer, has extended its partnership with the American esports organisation Rogue, from the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Summer Split 2021 (summer segment) which begins on 11/06/2021, announced the American organisation belonging to the group ReKTGlobal, on 07/06/2021. Kia and Rogue have been partners since 2020.

Kia is a regular advertiser in esports, having partnered with Riot Games for the LEC and is the title sponsor of Damwon Gaming (KOR, DWG Kia), the winning team of the 2020 Worlds (League of Legends World Championship).

Betway, a sports betting operator, has in turn entered into an agreement with German organisation G2 Esports, the finalists of the LEC 2021 Spring Split (lost to MAD Lions, ESP), on 09/06/2021. In 2018, G2 Esports entered into its first partnership with a bookmaker, namely ESP.bet (esports betting and fantasy league).

Betway is also no stranger to sponsorship in the esports scene, as the betting operator is in partnership with Furia (BRA), MIBR (BRA), PSG Esports/PSG.LGD (FRA-CHN), BIG Clan (GER) or Ninjas in Pyjamas…
