Premier League: Sky Deutschland extends TV rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (2022-2025)

The pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland has extended its Premier League broadcasting rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (German language rights), for the 2022-2025 cycle, on 09/06/2021.

Sky Deutschland holds these rights for the current cycle (2019-2022) whereas the OTT platform DAZN held them for the previous cycle (2016-2019).

Sky Deutschland holds the rights to broadcast 200 (out of 306) Bundesliga matches per season in Germany for the 2021-2025 cycle, but lost the rights to the Champions League to DAZN and Amazon for the 2021-2024 cycle.
