LFP TV rights 2021-2024: €663m/season in total, Amazon acquires 80% of matches (Ligue 1/Ligue 2)

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has awarded the lots formerly held by Mediapro for the broadcasting rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT, over the 2021-2024 cycle, to the e-commerce group Amazon, following a unanimous vote by the board of directors (one abstention), on 11/06/2021.

Amazon has acquired the rights to eight Ligue 1 games per matchday (including the 10 best matches of each season) and eight Ligue 2 games per matchday for €250m and €9m respectively per season.

The pay-TV groups Canal+ and beIN Sports, as well as telecommunications operator Free, retain the packages acquired in 2018 and 2019. The total amount for the LFP's domestic rights is €663m, including €624m for Ligue 1 (see details below).
