"We are excited and privileged to begin our partnership with LFP to bring the best of French club football to Prime Video in France," said Alex Green, managing director, Prime Video Sport Europe, on 11/06/2021. "Further details on price, production, team of consultants or customer experience will be communicated in the coming weeks, ahead of the start of the next season in August (2021)," said Amazon in a statement. Prime video is currently available in France at €4.99 per month with no commitment.

The Ligue de Football Professionnel awarded the lots formerly held by Mediapro for the broadcasting rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT, over the 2021-2024 cycle, to the e-commerce group Amazon, following a unanimous vote by the board of directors (one abstention), on 11/06/2021.

Amazon has acquired the rights to eight Ligue 1 games per matchday (including the 10 best matches of each season) and eight Ligue 2 games per matchday for €250m and €9m respectively per season.
