The infographics below show the evolution of the domestic TV rights to Ligue 1 (since 1999) and Ligue 2 (since 2004) in France.

For the 2021-2024 cycle, the LFP awarded the lots formerly held by Mediapro for the broadcasting rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT, over the 2021-2024 cycle, to the e-commerce group Amazon on 11/06/2021. Amazon has acquired the rights to eight Ligue 1 games per matchday (including the 10 best matches of each season) and eight Ligue 2 games per matchday for €250m and €9m respectively per season. This amount is more than three times lower than that which Mediapro was supposed to pay (€810m per season) for the same rights.

The pay-TV groups Canal+ and beIN Sports, as well as the telecommunications operator Free, will retain the lots acquired in 2018 and 2019, according to the LFP. Canal+ then decided not to broadcast the competition on 11/06/2021. The total amount for the LFP's domestic rights is €663m, including €624m for Ligue 1 (see details below).
