Premier League: 2021-22 calendar published, champions Manchester City start versus Tottenham Hotspur

Manchester City FC, reigning champions of England, will begin their 2021-22 Premier League campaign away to Tottenham Hotspur FC (7^th in 2020-21) on Matchday 1, Saturday 14/08/2021 (kick-off at 15:00 local time, 16:00 CET), according to the English league, which published the schedule for all 380 matches of the new season, on 16/06/2021 (see below).

The 2021-22 season begins nearly a month earlier than the 2020-21 season, which was pushed back and began on 12/09/2020 due the health crisis related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Matchday 38, the final matchday of the 2021-22 Premier League season, is scheduled for Sunday 22/05/2022.
