Germany: OneFootball and Sportdigital acquire 2021 Copa America broadcasting rights

The OneFootball platform and the pay-TV channel Sportdigital have acquired the broadcasting rights to the 2021 Copa America for Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 17/06/2021. The competition, held in Brazil, began on 13/06/2021, while both groups will begin broadcasting it on 17/06/2021.

"While Sportidigital Fussball will broadcast the matches live on the pay-TV channel with German commentary, OneFootball will show all Copa América matches with the original English sound in a free live stream on its own platform. This means 24 exciting live matches will be offered to fans through this cooperation, including the final on 11/06/2021. In addition, OneFootball will provide its users with highlight clips of all matches on the platform after the end of each game," said OneFootball.

The deal was negotiated by British consultancy JL Sports Investment, headed by Jochen Lösch, former CEO of MP & Silva.
