Ligue 2 BKT: Amiens SC changes logo for 2021-22 to celebrate its 120^th anniversary

Amiens SC Football (Ligue 2 BKT) has unveiled a new logo that will be used throughout the 2021-22 season, which marks its 120^th anniversary, announced the French club on 17/06/2021. Amiens SC was founded in October 1901.

"The club wanted to convey through this anniversary logo its attachment to its history, its territory and its values that have shaped Amiens SC. For this reason and in order to honour our past, this logo uses the symbols of Amiens SC's historical logos (see below)," said the Somme (FRA) club, which will return to its current logo at the end of the 2021-22 season.

"The major change in this anniversary logo lies in its colour. A fading red, a mark of our club's history, will be the main colour of the 120^th anniversary logo. This colour has been part of the club since the beginning of its history. It was used on some of our historic shirts in the 1910s, nearly 120 years ago," added Amiens SC.
