European Top 5: Rayo Vallecano promoted in Spain, all 98 clubs for the 2021-22 season decided

The 98 clubs that will participate in the European Top 5 first divisions in 2021-22 (18 in the Bundesliga and 20 in LaLiga Santander, the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Premier League and Serie A TIM) have now been decided.

One final uncertainty remained in Spain, where Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, winners of the LaLiga SmartBank play-off final versus Girona FC (1-2, 2-0), have returned to the top flight two years after their relegation. The Madrid club joins RCD Espanyol and RCD Mallorca, who were promoted directly after finishing first and second respectively in the table during the 2020-21 season.
