Serie A: Inter Milan unveil new star-less logo

Inter Milan (fifth in Serie A in 2013-14) unveiled their new logo on 07/07/2014.

This new logo is, like their others since 1990, inspired by the club's fist logo from 1908.

There is no longer a star on the new logo; each such star symbolises ten titles for an Italian club (Inter Milan have 18). Inter's star will now be seen only on their shirt.

The new logo will be printed on the club's 1,000 branded products for the 2014-15 season.

  • The new logo was drawn by Leftloft, an Italian design agency that has managed Inter Milan's public image since 2010.
  • Javier Zanetti (Argentina) has been named vice-president of Inter Milan (Serie A) for two years, announced Erick Thohir, the Indonesian majority shareholder and president of the club, on 01/07/2014.
  • Inter Milan had the most stadium-goers of Serie A, with 46,004 spectators on average per match during the 2013-14 season.
  • The media and marketing rights agency Infront Sports & Media has managed marketing and hospitality for Inter Milan since 29/04/2014. The two partners are under contract through 2017-18.
