Aston Villa FC: OB Sports (entertainment) succeeds Letou as sleeve sponsor for 2021-22

OB Sports, an "entertainment" brand of the Asian sports betting operator OB Entertainment, has become a partner and sleeve sponsor of Aston Villa FC (Premier League) for the 2021-22 season, announced the Birmingham-based club on 22/06/2021.

OB Sports succeeds the betting operator, Letou (LT, Philippines), Aston Villa's sleeve sponsor in 2020-21. The bookmaker BR88 was the club's first ever sleeve sponsor in 2019-20.

While Aston Villa refers to OB Sports as "a leader in sports and entertainment", the OB Entertainement Group does offer online betting services. On the occasion of the regional partnership between Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) and OB Sports which began in 2020-21, the platform was also presented as an "entertainment" medium - Italian clubs have not been authorised to promote gambling operators in Italy since 2019-20.
