esports: Ralph Lauren enters the discipline by becoming a partner of G2 Esports from 2021

Ralph Lauren, an American clothing brand, has become the "exclusive fashion outfitter" of G2 Esports as part of a multi-year partnership from 2021, announced the Berlin (GER) based esports organisation on 21/06/2021.

While adidas has been the official equipment supplier (jerseys) of G2 since 2021, Ralph Lauren will dress the players outside of competitions. As part of the partnership "G2 and Ralph Lauren will collaborate together across multiple campaigns and events while also launching a series of digital-first activations on platforms such as TikTok and Twitch, in addition to global campaigns and events."

This is Ralph Lauren's first esports partnership. The American brand will feature G2's Swedish player (LEC team) Martin "Rekkles" Larsson in an advert broadcast during the fortnight of the Wimbledon tennis tournament (from 21/06 to 12/07/2021) celebrating the 16-year partnership between the Grand Slam tournament and Ralph Lauren.
