Basketball: Betclic (betting) replaces Jeep as title sponsor of the LNB Pro A, renamed Betclic Élite

Betclic Group, a sports betting operator, has become the title sponsor of the LNB Pro A (French men's basketball first division) for "at least" three seasons, i.e. the 2021-2024 period, announced the Ligue Nationale de Basket on 24/06/2021. From 01/07/2021, the division will be known as the "Betclic Élite". The agreement was negotiated by the agency Sport&Co.

"Partnering with the Élite championship will allow Betclic to engage fans in order for them to experience their passion even more intensely. Betclic will offer a reduced size thumbnail video betting stream to all Betclic Élite punters. The brand plans to implement an ambitious activation plan, highlighting French basketball fans, as well as all fans, notably with the 'Playground Challenge'," said the LNB.

Betclic succeeds Jeep, a brand of the car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, as title sponsor of the Pro A, known as the "Jeep Élite" over the 2018-2021 cycle, for an annual amount of €1.3m.
