2021-22 Bundesliga: Borussia Mönchengladbach - FC Bayern Munich to begin the season on 13/08/2021

The 2021-22 Bundesliga season kicks off on Friday 13/08/2021 when FC Bayern Munich, the 2020-21 champions, travel to Borussia Monchengladbach (kick-off at 20.30 CET), according to the DFL, which unveiled the full fixture list for the new season on 25/06/2021 (document available to download).

Other fixtures include Borussia Dortmund - Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Union Berlin - Bayer 04 Leverkusen on the opening day of the 59^th season of the German top flight. Matchday 34 the final matchday of the season is scheduled on Saturday 14/05/2022.

The DFL-Supercup between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will take place on Tuesday 17/08/2021. The 2.Bundesliga will begin on Friday 23/07/2021 with the match between FC Schalke 04 and Hamburger Sport-Verein, with Matchday 34 scheduled for Sunday 15/05/2022.
