Norwich City FC: Lotus replaces BK8 Sports (betting) as main shirt sponsor for 2021-22

Lotus, a British car manufacturer based in Norwich (ENG), has become a principal partner and main shirt sponsor of Norwich City FC (Premier League) for the 2021-22 season, announced the 2020-21 Sky Bet Championship champions (promoted to the Premier League for 2021-22), on 25/06/2021.

The club was seeking a new main shirt sponsor after its agreement with the Maltese sports betting operator BK8, signed on 07/06/2021 (who initially succeeded another bookmaker, dafabet) was terminated on 10/06/2021 following negative reactions from the club's fans (see below). Lotus was previously the club's away shirt sponsor from its memorable 2003-04 season (English second division champions, promoted to the Premier League) until the 2006-07 season and has been a global partner, as part of a "multi-year" agreement, since August 2019.

This new deal "sees the partnership between the club and Lotus taken to the next level, after the Norfolk-based company's successful sponsorship of the club's training centre and academy over recent seasons," explained the club. The lotus logo will also appear on Norwich…
